Background

John Nickelson is a native of Shreveport and graduated with high honors from TCU, where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. He earned his law degree from the University of Virginia School of Law, served as a federal appellate law clerk to United States Circuit Judge Jennifer Walker Elrod, and practiced law with Baker Botts LLP in Dallas and Cook, Yancey, King & Galloway, APLC, in Shreveport before opening his own firm. He and his wife, Emily, are the proud parents of four children and are active members of their church.
